An Igbo x British Christian Love Story in South Kensington: Wedding Countdown: Just 2 weeks to go! This is our sweet Nigerian bride-to-be and British groom-to-be. Their beautiful love story began at their church, HTB – Holy Trinity Brompton Church, in South Kensington, London. This is also the church we attend for our own services, which makes their journey even more special to us.

We’ve known this lovely couple for several years through church, watching their relationship grow, rooted deeply in faith. Now, we are so honoured to witness and capture their Igbo x British Christian wedding, a beautiful union that brings two cultures and traditions together as one.

They are also our second couple this year from the same church community to have their engagement shoot with us. Our first couple also trusted us with both their engagement and wedding photos and films. Feel free to take a look at their work here:

For this engagement shoot, we captured both photos and video around the stunning South Kensington area, starting at HTB Church. We then headed to Hyde Park, a very meaningful place for the couple. It’s where they often spend time together and where the groom-to-be proposed to his beautiful bride-to-be, right by a tree log filled with special memories.

Both of them were dressed in Igbo traditional engagement attire, known as Isiagu. Isiagu is a powerful and symbolic outfit in Igbo culture, traditionally worn during important ceremonies such as engagements and weddings. It is known for its bold patterns, rich textures, and vibrant colours, representing pride, heritage, and identity. Seeing both of them wearing Isiagu together was truly special and a perfect reflection of cultural unity.

During our 2 hour photo and video shoot, we had an amazing time capturing their joy and laughter, especially in Hyde Park and among the picturesque, colourful streets and charming houses of South Kensington, surrounding HTB Church. Every moment was filled with love, excitement, and anticipation for their big day.

For us, it’s always about creating meaningful memories through our cameras.

They wanted to create the best experience for their guests and to honour their love story through an engagement shoot with us. Every image, every video, the style, and the mood all became a true reflection of who they are as a couple.

During our 2 hour shoot, we began in the picturesque small streets of South Kensington, surrounded by colourful houses. We then moved on to a main road with the iconic Natural History Museum as our backdrop. Although it was a bit challenging due to heavy traffic and the busy surroundings, we managed everything carefully, and the shoot turned out beautifully.

Finally, we went to Holy Trinity Brompton Church, a very special place where the couple regularly worship. We took more photos around the church and ended our shoot in the church garden.

This spot holds deep meaning for them, it’s where the groom first sat with the bride and expressed his love. We also filmed their couple interview there, learning more about their love story from the very beginning.

Wedding Countdown: Just 2 weeks to go! This is our sweet Nigerian bride-to-be and British groom-to-be. Their beautiful love story began at their church, HTB – Holy Trinity Brompton Church, in South Kensington, London. This is also the church we attend for our own services, which makes their journey even more special to us.

We’ve known this lovely couple for several years through church, watching their relationship grow, rooted deeply in faith. Now, we are so honoured to witness and capture their Igbo x British Christian wedding, a beautiful union that brings two cultures and traditions together as one.

They are also our second couple this year from the same church community to have their engagement shoot with us. Our first couple also trusted us with both their engagement and wedding photos and films. Feel free to take a look at their work here:

For this engagement shoot, we captured both photos and video around the stunning South Kensington area, starting at HTB Church. We then headed to Hyde Park, a very meaningful place for the couple. It’s where they often spend time together and where the groom-to-be proposed to his beautiful bride-to-be, right by a tree log filled with special memories.

Both of them were dressed in Igbo traditional engagement attire, known as Isiagu. Isiagu is a powerful and symbolic outfit in Igbo culture, traditionally worn during important ceremonies such as engagements and weddings. It is known for its bold patterns, rich textures, and vibrant colours, representing pride, heritage, and identity. Seeing both of them wearing Isiagu together was truly special and a perfect reflection of cultural unity.

During our 2 hour photo and video shoot, we had an amazing time capturing their joy and laughter, especially in Hyde Park and among the picturesque, colourful streets and charming houses of South Kensington, surrounding HTB Church. Every moment was filled with love, excitement, and anticipation for their big day.
