A Morning Full of Glamour

Our day began bright and early at the Hilton London Paddington Hotel, where we worked the magic on the bride, bridesmaids, and relatives. With skill and care, we created stunning hair and makeup looks to enhance each person’s natural beauty. Once the bride was ready, exuding charm and elegance, we captured intimate bridal photos and videos in the beautifully appointed hotel room.

A Unique Church Ceremony

The wedding ceremony took place at the iconic All Souls Langham Place, a renowned church in central London. This was not just any ceremony—it was infused with heartwarming moments, the choir performed alongside their church community from Epsom and France. The melodies added a personal touch, and familiar faces from Chinese community brought a sense of connection and unity.  And the sermon was translated into Cantonese. These showed the couple honour their traditions and guests from different cultures.The couple’s decision to serve an array of cakes, desserts, coffees, and teas to their guests made the ceremony even more unique, showcasing their hospitality and love for tradition.

After the heartfelt ceremony, we organised the big group photo shoot outside the church. The vibrant energy of Oxford Street, with its bustling traffic and enthusiastic onlookers, added an exciting challenge. The group sang Amazing Grace and had confetti shot while drivers and pedestrian cheered for the couple. We captured memorable shots of the couple surrounded by their loved ones, with cheers and applause from passers-by adding to the joyous atmosphere.

A Romantic Evening

Returning to the Hilton, we continued with a romantic rooftop photo session featuring the stunning Paddington skyline as a backdrop. The couple’s love shone brightly during their first dance, cake cutting, and heartfelt moments shared with their guests in the beautifully prepared banquet room.

婚禮儀式在倫敦市中心著名的蘭漢坊萬靈堂舉行，這是一次別具一格的婚禮。儀式充滿溫馨的時刻，合唱團與來自埃普瑟姆和法國的教堂社區共同演唱，為婚禮增添了個性化的音符。此外，熟悉的華人社區面孔也帶來了親切感和團結的氛圍。牧師的講道翻譯成粵語，體現了這對新人對傳統和不同文化賓客的尊重。新人在儀式上為賓客準備了各種蛋糕、甜點、咖啡和茶，這獨特的安排展現了他們的熱情好客和對傳統的珍視。

在充滿感情的儀式結束後，我們在教堂外安排了一次大型團體合影。繁忙的牛津街交通和熱情的路人為這一時刻增添了興奮的挑戰。所有人一同唱起《奇異恩典》，並拍攝了五彩紙屑照片。行人和駕駛者的喝彩聲和掌聲營造出愉悅的氛圍，我們成功捕捉了這對新人被親友簇擁的難忘畫面。

回到希爾頓酒店後，我們在屋頂進行了一場浪漫的拍攝，帕丁頓的壯麗天際線成為背景。隨後，新人在佈置精美的宴會廳內完成了他們的第一次舞蹈、切蛋糕儀式以及與賓客共享的溫馨時刻，愛意洋溢在每一個細節中。

A Beautiful Love Story in Leigh, Wigan

We recently had the pleasure of providing pre-wedding and wedding photography, videography, and bridal hair & makeup services for a lovely, modest Hong Kong couple in Greater Manchester.

This sweet couple, who relocated to Northwest England a couple of years ago from Hong Kong, first worked with us for their pre-wedding shoot in the stunning Worsley Woods just a month ago. Their wedding day followed shortly after, with loved ones traveling all the way from Hong Kong to celebrate their big day.

The bride decided on a last-minute pre-wedding shoot after our suggestion during her bridal hair and makeup trial. She planned to share the photos and highlight video at their wedding banquet, adding a special touch for their guests.

While the couple was initially shy during the shoot, our many years of experience helped ease their nerves. By giving gentle guidelines and creating a relaxed atmosphere, they became more comfortable, allowing us to capture their genuine love and connection.

The pre-wedding shoot was held in the evening, presenting a unique challenge with its dark, forest scene. However, with creative lighting techniques, we produced stunning images and videos that beautifully combined shadows and light, resulting in a magical and captivating atmosphere.

Their beautiful ceremony and reception took place at Northbrook Park, a picturesque venue where we've had the opportunity to work 3 times. The wedding day was roughly 10 hours and we were able to capture every moment seamlessly, adding our professional touch from start to finish.

Siu Ming and Edward Paris Proposal Highlight Video

- Barbie in Paris , Another Romantic Proposal Photoshoot -

Embracing the charming Autumn in Paris, we had the pleasure of providing proposal photography, videography, and bridal hair styling and makeup services for a Hong Kong couple. Their story unfolded just a couple of weeks before their planned Parisian escapade, and despite the short notice, we crafted a day filled with love, laughter, and enchantment. 

Proposal Planning and Photography, Videography Shoot:

The bride to be does a lot of stage work, like modeling, emceeing, and hosting events. It was hard for the couple to organise a shoot. When the groom to be came to us, it was just one week before their trip.

The bride to be imagined a fairy tale experience. We have not came across a proposal shoot which the groom to be went above and beyond scourcing everything the bride to be wants with 120% effort. There were four things he found in a week:

1) A pink candy floss like barbie dress, which we ended up made it in three days for the shoot

2) A private hired boat on River Seine roam around Eiffel Tower

3) Colourful helium balloons 

4) A hotel room suits for the princess.

The bride to be imagined she would be proposed in a big pink princess dress on the River Seine with the Eiffel Tower in the background. It was a little bit difficult to shoot and film on the boat, as the boat shook from time to time due to the water current. The proposal ran five times, so we were able to capture it from different angles. After their proposal shoot, we took some photos around Petit Palais, Pont Alexandre III and Eiffel Tower. 

Desintation Wedding Photography and Videography

We have forgotten the amount of times we shot in Paris in the past few years. We have performed shoots in European cities like Zurich, Gothenburg, Barcelona, Sevilla, Brugges and more. Our pre-wedding and wedding photos and videos have been featured on various wedding-related websites, especially those based in Europe.

This particular couple discovered us through a Paris pre-wedding photographer selection website, where our best engagement photos were showcased. We are humbled to see our work appreciated by fellow suppliers in the industry.

This sweet couple travelled from Hong Kong to the UK for their wedding ceremony in Edinburgh. We are grateful to be in Edinburgh again, to witness their wedding and also experience Scottish culture. It is truly a beautiful country, filled with friendly people.

It was a small intimate wedding. We first started our hair and makeup service in the morning around 9am. We first finished the bride's aunt's hair and makeup, then move on to the bridal one and then the groom's one. 

After hair and makeup season finished we capture a simple tea ceremony, couple portrait shoot and small family shoot before leaving their Airbnb apartment and walking to City of Edinburgh Council. Their legal civil ceremony lasted 40 minutes. It maybe simple, but full of joy and blessings. 

We can see the Cathedral right in front of us after stepping out the ceremony location. 

 

The couple tossed the bouquet. We had the shoot in drizzle. After all, it was an early Spring wedding. We got some romantic and affective moments with Edinburgh historical and natural backdrop. We wish them all the best and a happy married life ever-after. We love celebrate love with couples.

Wedding Photography, Videography and Bridal Hair Styling & Makeup Service to a British-Hong Kong couple in Liverpool, England

We have provided wedding photography, videography and bridal hair styling & mother of the bride makeup and hair styling service to a family-oriented British-Hong Kong couple in Liverpool.

This is a wedding with a mixture of Western civil ceremony and modernised Chinese traditions. We have provided nearly 13 hours service. Firstly, we started our hair styling and makeup process in the early morning when the bride, her bridesmaids, mother and close family friends stayed in the penthouse of an apartment building.

After that, we started photography and videography service for the door game session. It was fun, but also touching, especially when the groom telling his bride how much he loves her. It was not very easy to capture the door game, as it started in a narrow corridor.

During the door game, all other relatives came to the building to witness the Chinese tea ceremony and celebrate the family. Many of the relatives gave the couple golds and red packet of money as a gesture of good will and prosperity. 

The bride then changed into her white wedding attire in the bridal room in Royal Liver Building, where the ceremony took place. It locates near the coast with beautiful view of Liverpool. Such an iconic tall building with big windows, that made us imagine we were in one of the Batman movies.

During ceremony, the groom cried a lot, and his wife also joined to him because of the emotional atmosphere there. We also took very romantic couple shoots at the Royal Liver Building balcony and lobby after their ceremony is done.

Lastly, we went to Chung Ku Liverpool Restaurant to do their banquet photo and video shoot. The bride's father and brother was in Manchester Lion Dance team. It was the first time we witness the family gave such a beautiful performance for the newlywed. Before the banquet started, the family and professional dancers did the traditional Chinese Lion Dance in different sets of props. The whole process last nearly 1 hour. 

Chung Ku is a huge Chinese restaurant with 2 floors near the sea. The whole 2 floors were full with around 200 guests. The food was superb. The couple told us this restaurant is the best one around the area with fresh sea food. The guests were so impressed with the banquet.

In between the Lion Dances the beautiful bride has also changed her wedding dress into red Qipao again. We changed her hair style again and helped the change again when she changed into evening dress. It is a traditional for brides and her family to change into multiple gowns. Traditionally, Chinese brides have to wear 5 gowns on her wedding day. It was a symbol of luck.

This couple loves to join couple contest. On their special day, they have prepared a special dance performance as their first dance too. After the banquet, speeches from the two fathers and couple, all the toasts and cheers, also cake cutting, the most exciting part of the night came. The couple has sent us a video of their rehearsal before their wedding. They did the dance quite nicely with some romantic and fun actions. We did enjoy watching it again and again during our video editing process.

So the day has finished with the party, and the guests took boxes of take away of the wedding cake pieces and left over from the banquet. It is important not to have food waste, and no one wants to waste these delicious food. The bride sent us a message the next day, saying our organisation was very good. We think they did plan very well and paid attention to details. We wish them all the best and a happy married life ever-after.

Jess and Will Wedding Teaser Video

We have provided wedding photography and videography service to this very friendly and lovely British Hong Kong bride and British groom in Mid-Autumn Festival. The weather turned a bit cooler, but the event was warm with their all families', relatives' and guests' cheerful passions and emotions. It is such an enjoyable day. We travelled to Angel, Islington and Newham in London for their wedding.

This was our another challenging wedding day with total 14 hours coverage. A typical Chinese mix British style wedding with civil ceremony and Chinese banquet, also different parts of celebration like tea ceremony, lion dance, cake cutting and party.

We started early in the morning for bride's and bridesmaids' preparation in nHow hotel in Angel with photo and video shoot. This hotel is a hidden gem in central east of the city! We really loved this artistic, quirky hotel. There are lots of fashionable designs, mixing with different lightings, modern with a sense of vintage decor... All these constructed a very nice backdrop for photo shoot. After that, we rushed to Islington Town Hall for the ceremony. 

We have been serving in this town hall so many times for wedding photos and videos. We always have to rush if couples book this venue for ceremony. But this time, it was even more rush, as the place is fully booked. Different couples went in every 30-45 mins! There ceremony last a maximum 30 mins. That gave us 15 mins to finish the shoot in the Town Hall.

Our another location was The Angelic bar/restaurant where the guests enjoy the drinks reception with delicious canapés and champagne.  There are even more guests here, since some of them couldn't attend the civil ceremony. It was originally planned for the groom and groomsmen to play some door games and challenges, but we had to skip it since it was running late for the schedule.

Our last venue was Yi-Ban Chinese Restaurant on Dockside Road, London. We missed this place so much. This place was closed for the whole Covid restricted period. Since they opened again in June, 2021, many couples from East Asian background, including Chinese, Vietnamese, all rushed to book this restaurant. We have also came here so many times to celebrate and witnessed lots of couples' their most important day with our cameras. 

We done Chinese tea ceremony, speeches, cake cutting, first dance, toasting with guest photos and films with our couple and their lovely guests. The process was long, yet enjoyable for the family, all the guests and us. The guests praised the food and all arrangements.

我們一大早就開始在安吉爾的nHow酒店為新娘和伴娘準備拍攝。這家酒店是城市中東部的一顆隱藏的寶石！我們真的很喜歡這家充滿藝術氣息的古怪酒店。有很多時尚的設計，不同的燈光混合，現代感的複古裝飾......所有這些都為拍攝照片提供了一個非常好的背景。之後，我們趕往伊斯靈頓市政廳參加儀式。

我們已經在這個市政廳服務了很多次婚禮照片和視頻。如果情侶們預訂這個場地舉行儀式，我們總是趕急。但這一次，更匆忙，因為這個地方已經訂滿了。不同的新人的婚禮。每 30-45 分鐘便有新人進去！儀式最多持續30分鐘。這給了我們 15 分鐘的時間在市政廳完成拍攝新人肖像。

我們的另一個地點是安吉爾酒吧/餐廳，客人可以在那裡享用美味的小吃和香檳酒會。這裡的客人更多，因為有些人不能參加民事儀式。原本計劃讓新郎和伴郎們玩接新娘遊戲和挑戰，但由於日程安排延遲到了，我們不得不跳過這環節。

我們的最後去的一個地點是倫敦碼頭路的一品中餐廳。我們非常想念這個地方。這個地方在整個 Covid 限制期內都關閉了。自2021年6月再次開業以來，很多東亞傳統背景的新人，包括中國人、越南人，都爭先地預定了這家餐廳。我們也來過這裡很多次，用我們的相機慶祝和見證了許多新人重要的一天。

我們與我們的新人和他們客人一起完成了中式茶禮、演講、切蛋糕、第一支舞和敬酒。這天過程很長，但對家人、所有客人和我們來說都是愉快的。客人對食物和所有安排都讚不絕口。

我們祝愿他們永遠幸福美滿的婚姻生活。
