Recently, we had the pleasure of providing engagement photography and videography services for a wonderful couple in Greenwich. Before the photoshoot, the bride-to-be visited our Hammersmith studio for professional bridal hair and makeup. After a relaxing three-hour beauty session, we travelled together to Greenwich to begin their romantic pre-wedding shoot.

When discussing potential locations, we presented several options to the couple. They chose Greenwich, which is also one of our favourite locations for engagement photography in London. Having photographed and filmed many couples here over the years, we know that Greenwich consistently provides stunning scenery and a wonderful atmosphere for creating beautiful memories.
Engagement Photography at Greenwich Park
We began the session in the heart of Greenwich Park, one of London's most picturesque green spaces. Surrounded by mature trees, peaceful pathways, and beautiful open landscapes, the couple quickly relaxed and enjoyed spending time together while we captured natural interactions, affectionate moments, and elegant portraits.
Greenwich Park offers the perfect balance between open scenery and secluded corners, allowing couples to feel comfortable in front of the camera while creating authentic and emotional photographs.
Stunning Views from the Royal Observatory
From the park, we made our way to the famous viewpoint near the Royal Observatory. This location offers one of the most iconic panoramic views in London, overlooking the Queen's House, the Old Royal Naval College, and the impressive Canary Wharf skyline.
The contrast between Greenwich's rich history and London's modern architecture creates a unique backdrop that perfectly captures the character of the city. It remains one of our favourite locations for dramatic engagement portraits and cinematic video footage.
Exploring Historic Greenwich
As the afternoon continued, we wandered through the charming streets and riverside areas of Greenwich. The town centre is full of character, featuring traditional pubs, vibrant cafés, cobbled walkways, and beautiful historic architecture.
These surroundings provided the perfect setting for documentary-style photography and videography. We captured the couple enjoying quiet moments together while the lively atmosphere of Greenwich added authenticity and charm to the images and video footage. Often, these natural and unscripted moments become the most treasured memories from a pre-wedding session.
Romantic Portraits at Cutty Sark
Our final stop was the iconic Cutty Sark, one of Greenwich's most recognisable landmarks. The combination of historic maritime heritage, elegant architecture, and contemporary surroundings creates a truly distinctive backdrop for engagement photography and videography.
As the evening light softened, we captured a final collection of romantic portraits around the ship. The warm light and beautiful setting provided the perfect ending to an unforgettable engagement session.
Looking Forward to Their Wedding Day
After completing the session, we said goodbye to our lovely couple—but not for long.
We are delighted to be joining them again next month for their wedding day photography and videography coverage. Their celebration will begin with a beautiful church ceremony at Christ Church Turnham Green, followed by a reception at The Black Lion.
