A Joyous Return to Wirral: Capturing a 60th Birthday Celebration Filled with Love and Legacy

Two years ago, we had the honour of photographing and filming the wedding of a wonderful British-Nigerian couple in Wirral, England. It was a day filled with love, family, and joyous celebration. When the father of the bride reached out to us for his 60th birthday celebration, we were truly touched.

A Nostalgic Reunion at Hulme Hall

The birthday celebration was held at the same venue as the wedding – the beautiful Hulme Hall in Port Sunlight.

Stepping into the venue brought back fond memories of the couple’s wedding day. What made it even more special was that many of the same vendors returned for this celebration – from the cake maker and decorator to the caterers and, of course, us as the photographers and videographers. It was a heartwarming reunion, and the sense of familiarity added an extra layer of sentiment to the event. It is a typical model - How to celebrate a successful life at 60

A Man of Faith and Service

Through this celebration, we learned so much more about the father and his incredible journey. A highly respected doctor and a dedicated Christian, he has spent his life not only healing patients but also inspiring those around him.

His faith has played a significant role in shaping his life, leading him to write a book titled His Faithfulness, in which he shares his personal experiences with God and the lessons he has learned throughout his journey. The book was a resounding success on the night, with copies selling out as guests eagerly took home a piece of his wisdom and testimony.

Beyond his professional and spiritual endeavours, he has also dedicated himself to philanthropy by founding a charity to help those in need. His impact on his community became even clearer as we interacted with guests who shared stories of his kindness, generosity, and unwavering support in both his medical practice and personal life. Later, we discovered that he runs a local General Practice, where he has helped countless patients over the years.

A Celebration of Family, Music, and Togetherness

The evening was not just a celebration of a milestone birthday but a heartfelt gathering of family, friends, and colleagues who came together to honour a man they deeply admire.

One of the most memorable moments of the night was the musical performance by his supportive wife and daughters. Their angelic voices filled the hall as they sang, while his son-in-law accompanied them on the guitar. It was a beautiful display of love and unity, creating an intimate and emotional moment that left many in awe.

Throughout the evening, we moved seamlessly between capturing candid moments of laughter, heartfelt embraces, and the joyous interactions among guests. The energy in the room was infectious, and it was clear that everyone present felt truly privileged to be part of such a meaningful occasion.

Just like at the wedding, the atmosphere was vibrant, and there was no shortage of dancing. The guests were in high spirits, moving to the rhythm of lively African music. A major highlight of the evening was the cake-cutting ceremony. The birthday cake was a stunning masterpiece – a regal blue and gold creation designed to resemble a wedding cake, making it a fitting centrepiece for such a grand celebration. Adding a personal touch, there were also intricately decorated cupcakes featuring edible medical-themed designs, a nod to the honouree’s esteemed career in healthcare. Wedding Photography and Videography Service in West London, England

We provided wedding photography and videography services to a fashionable British Nigerian bride and groom on their most happy day in London, England.

We started very early in the morning and separated our team members for the bride and groom's photo and video shoots in their hotels. This was yet another African-Western wedding that we provided our full-off service for.

While we were documenting the beautiful bride's preparations at the Hilton London Paddington, our other photographer and videographer team were also taking stylish groom's getting ready shots at Novotel London West, Hammersmith.

After we finished our shoots, we went to their intimate family church, St. Augustine's Catholic Church. The church is located in Hammersmith and we walked there after finishing our shoot at the hotel.

The church ceremony took a classical vows from the couple, they gave their vows to each other. And, their ring exchange and prayer service took around 2 hours altogether, along with the church service itself.

Lastly, we went to The Hurlingham Club in Fulham, West London. The Hurlingham Club is an exclusive private social club that hosts events and weddings for their special members.

We have taken all our romantic couple, banquet, and first dance shoots in this fascinating place, which helped us with an amazing background of green garden.

We have provided wedding photography and videography services for a pleasant couple in the North East England.

Their wedding ceremony was held in an impressive historical church, St. Maurice Ellingham and their wedding banquet was held at a luxury wedding venue, Ellingham Hall, Northumberland.

This sweet couple's wedding day was actually held all at one place in Ellingham Hall, with all the wedding setups being western-styled. We first started the bridal and groom getting ready shoots right after the church ceremony started, which took place very close to the venue.

After that, we returned to the venue and finished our photo and video shoots very professionally and smoothly. Their wedding took all day, around 12 hours. It was a tiring day for us, but we also had a great time during our shoots with this friendly couple and all their guests.

Engagement Photography and Videography Service in Central London, England

We have provided two hours engagement photography and videography service for an intimate Ghanaian couple in central London.

This sweet couple actually lives in Birmingham and they don't know so much things in central London. So, they have asked us to take their photo and video film at particular landmarks of London.

We suggested them for Buckingham Palace and met them up in Green Park which is next to the Palace. We started our shoots when nearly sunset going down in the Park and walked in front of the Palace.

After, the shooting around Palace, we carried onto our photoshoot and video filming in St James Park for some greenery and romantic backgrounds during the dusk. Because of the sun has already gone, the night time dark environment helped us to take the shoots how we wanted.

We have finished our shoot near Piccadilly Circus while they gave us their love story of how began falling in love, and what their plans are for their coming wedding, also their near future plan in the interview recording with us.

We are now waiting their grand wedding in Autumn. Looking forward to it.

We provided wedding photography and videography service to a friendly Ghanaian couple in Bromley, South East London last Autumn. The groom grew up in Germany and the bride grew up in England. They met during Covid lock down through friends’ connections.

This is another wedding story we witnessed with our cameras. A couple of months before their wedding day, we have provided them with an engagement photography & videography service in Central London with some romantic touches in our shoots.

They were actually planning to take their engagement and wedding ceremonies in Wolverhampton before. But after discussion with the families, they decided to have both shoots in London.

Unlike other modern weddings, the couple opted for a traditional wedding, which means the groom would not see the bride before her father gave her away.

This couple comes from quite religious families. The bride’s father is a priest. Just before she left her home, her mother gave her a simple prayer and blessed her by putting the Tierra on her head. She has also given her some advice on how she should treat her family and husband.

After that, we arrived at the bride’s parent’s church for a 2 hours long ceremony. Lovely bride was brought to the first time seeing her future husband by her priest father’s hands. It was so romantic for the couple and for their guests.

There were a few priests giving sermons. From that, we can understand the church is very close to the couple. The congregation treats her as a daughter. The ceremony, banquet and party were held at Anerley Methodist Church, Anerley, Bromley, South East London.

They had a quite intimate banquet with all their close family members, relatives and guests who are also members of their own church. Their priests who attended their wedding also joined their party dance. What a great mixture of Ghanaian traditional style and western style wedding!

We really enjoyed their wedding from the morning until night, and editing their photos and videos. Wish them all the best and have a happy married life ever-after.

Classic Chic Central London Engagement Photo & Video Shoot: We have provided two hours engagement photography and videography service for an intimate Ghanaian couple in central London.

This sweet couple actually lives in Birmingham and they don't know so much things in central London. So, they have asked us to take their photo and video film at particular landmarks of London.

We suggested them for Buckingham Palace and met them up in Green Park which is next to the Palace. We started our shoots when nearly sunset going down in the Park and walked in front of the Palace.

After, the shooting around Palace, we carried onto our photoshoot and video filming in St James Park for some greenery and romantic backgrounds during the dusk. Because of the sun has already gone, the night time dark environment helped us to take the shoots how we wanted.

We have finished our shoot near Piccadilly Circus while they gave us their love story of how began falling in love, and what is their plans for their coming wedding, also their near future plan in the interview recording with us.
