Spring is a season of fresh beginnings, beautiful blossoms and brighter days, making it the perfect time to celebrate the start of a new chapter together. On a glorious spring day, beneath clear blue skies and warm sunshine, we had the honour of providing wedding photography, wedding videography, bridal hair styling and professional bridal make-up for the lovely Tracy and Peter at the stunning Ufton Court, one of Berkshire's most charming countryside barn wedding venues.

Nestled in the peaceful countryside near Reading, Berkshire, in the heart of Southern England, Ufton Court provided the perfect backdrop for a wedding that beautifully combined British traditions with meaningful Chinese customs. Every corner of the venue offered wonderful opportunities for natural and timeless wedding photography, from its rustic wooden barns and elegant gardens to its tranquil surroundings.

Our day began with the bridal preparations, where our professional hair and make-up team carefully transformed Tracy into an elegant and radiant bride. She wanted a timeless, natural bridal look that reflected her personality, and watching her confidence grow throughout the morning was truly rewarding. Every detail, from her hairstyle to the finishing touches of her make-up, was thoughtfully completed to complement her wedding dress perfectly.
While Tracy was getting ready, we documented many beautiful behind-the-scenes moments that often become some of the most treasured memories of a wedding day. One particularly touching moment was watching her mother lovingly helping her adjust her traditional Chinese wedding dress before the civil ceremony. The emotion between mother and daughter was impossible to miss, and these quiet moments of love and support beautifully reflected the importance of family.
Later, Tracy changed into her elegant white wedding gown, ready for the ceremony. Meanwhile, we also spent time with Peter, capturing his final preparations before he met his bride. From adjusting his suit and tie to the excitement shared with his groomsmen, every photograph told another part of their wedding story.
Before guests arrived for the ceremony, we took advantage of the beautiful surroundings at Ufton Court to create relaxed environmental portraits of the couple and photograph the carefully chosen wedding details. Among our favourite details were several charming vintage-inspired decorations, including a nostalgic cassette-style voice recorder, an old-fashioned microphone, elegant notebooks and a beautifully styled vintage travel bag. These thoughtful decorations reflected the couple's personalities and added even more character to their special day.
The civil ceremony took place inside Ufton Court's beautifully restored barn, where rustic wooden beams, traditional oak flooring and elegant decorations created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Soft natural light filled the room as family and friends gathered to witness Tracy and Peter exchange their vows. It was an emotional ceremony filled with laughter, happy tears and unforgettable smiles.
After the ceremony, the celebrations truly began. The newlyweds enjoyed joyful confetti photographs, plenty of laughter with family and friends, and some wonderfully relaxed portraits around the grounds. Their happiness was infectious, making every photograph feel genuine and full of life.
The drinks reception gave everyone an opportunity to celebrate together, and it also brought one of the day's most unique experiences. Two beautiful owls, one large and one much smaller, joined the celebrations as part of a special owl experience arranged for the guests. This created an unforgettable opportunity for some truly distinctive wedding photographs, allowing Tracy and Peter to enjoy a series of fun and memorable portraits unlike anything seen at a typical wedding.
Once the couple portraits, family group photographs and reception coverage were complete, we prepared for the wedding breakfast. Before the newlyweds joined their guests, we quietly captured a series of romantic photographs as they held hands, exchanged affectionate smiles and shared gentle kisses together. With their family and friends happily celebrating in the softly blurred background, these images perfectly reflected the intimacy of the moment amidst the excitement of the day.
The wedding breakfast was filled with wonderful food, laughter and heartfelt speeches. One of the most emotional moments came when Peter's father delivered a deeply moving speech, sharing his love, pride and best wishes for the couple's future together. His words touched everyone in the room. Tracy and Peter also shared heartfelt speeches of their own, while the best man entertained the guests with humour, bringing plenty of laughter throughout the reception.
Following the wedding breakfast, the celebrations continued with one of the most meaningful traditions of the day — the traditional Chinese tea ceremony. This beautiful custom allowed Tracy and Peter to show their respect and gratitude to their parents, grandparents and other senior family members by serving tea in delicate cups. In return, they received heartfelt blessings together with traditional gifts and lucky red envelopes.
The bridesmaids played an important role by carefully preparing the tea and ensuring everything ran smoothly. Having photographed many Chinese tea ceremonies over the years, we understand the importance of anticipating every special moment while remaining discreet and respectful throughout the ceremony. This experience allows us to capture genuine emotions from the best possible angles without interrupting such an important family tradition.
As evening arrived, the celebrations continued with the wedding cake cutting, followed by the couple's romantic first dance. The softly lit reception room created an intimate atmosphere, with warm lighting adding depth and elegance to every photograph and every frame of film. These quieter moments allowed Tracy and Peter to simply enjoy being together as husband and wife.
The evening concluded with an energetic dance floor filled with family and friends celebrating together. Laughter echoed throughout the venue as everyone joined the newlyweds for one final celebration before the night came to an end.
It was a genuine pleasure to be part of Tracy and Peter's beautiful spring wedding and to capture every chapter of their unforgettable day through both photography and videography. 在一個溫暖而陽光燦爛的春日，我們非常榮幸為 Tracy 與 Peter 提供全日婚禮攝影、婚禮錄影、新娘化妝及新娘髮型服務，共同見證他們人生中最重要的一天。
婚禮於位於 英國 Berkshire（伯克郡）Reading（雷丁）附近 的著名鄉村婚禮場地 Ufton Court 舉行。這座充滿歷史氣息的鄉村莊園，被綠意盎然的自然景色包圍，擁有優雅的木製穀倉建築及寧靜的庭園，是舉行英式鄉村婚禮的理想地點，同時亦為婚禮攝影提供了無數充滿浪漫氣氛的拍攝場景。
我們的一天由新娘準備開始。
化妝團隊細心地為 Tracy 設計自然、優雅且充滿氣質的新娘造型，希望能夠展現她最真實、最動人的一面。從妝容到髮型，每一個細節都經過悉心設計，與她的婚紗完美配合。
當新娘梳妝期間，我們亦拍攝了不少珍貴的幕後花絮，其中最令人感動的一幕，就是 Tracy 的母親細心地替她整理中式裙褂。母女之間流露出的愛與不捨，不需要任何言語，已經深深打動在場每一位。這些真摯自然的瞬間，往往也是婚禮中最值得珍藏的回憶。
完成中式服裝拍攝後，Tracy 換上了純白婚紗，準備迎接婚禮儀式。而另一邊，我們亦同時記錄 Peter 與伴郎們的準備過程，從整理西裝、繫上領帶，到等待迎接新娘時既興奮又期待的神情，每一個細節都成為婚禮故事的重要一部分。
在婚禮正式開始前，我們利用 Ufton Court 優美的戶外環境拍攝了一系列自然婚紗照，同時記錄新人精心準備的婚禮細節。
其中最吸引我們注意的是多件充滿復古風格的小擺設，包括懷舊錄音機、復古麥克風、手寫筆記本及精緻的皮革旅行袋等，每一件都展現了新人獨特的品味，也令整個婚禮增添更多個人特色與故事感。
婚禮證婚儀式於 Ufton Court 經典的木製穀倉內舉行。
陽光透過窗戶灑進室內，配合木樑、木地板及簡約而溫暖的佈置，營造出舒適而浪漫的氣氛。當 Tracy 與 Peter 在親友見證下交換誓言的一刻，全場充滿歡笑與感動，也留下了無數值得珍藏的畫面。
