It was an interesting day. We were a bit worried the week before, as it was forecasted – rainy day. ‘It was meant to be!’ We said, ‘Did you realise the rain started again right after we finished the shoot?’
Miraculously, the sky dedicated to hold the rain for this lovely young couple. We were able to film with drone, and there was a glimpse of sun-ray when we shoot the proposal and their portraits.

We shot this proposal in Pennyhill Park, a beautiful hotel, perfect for countryside retreat and nice meals. The groom said to us, ‘I cannot change the date and cannot change the time of this proposal, because the place is fully booked!’

Hired a Photographer and Videographer for Marriage Proposal
This husband-to-be has planned this proposal for two months. He hired us to capture the moment. We arrived at the hotel slightly earlier than his girlfriend, to scout the location and set up our equipment. Before that, we spoke with the groom-to-be to discuss his vision for the proposal and our plan.
On the day of the proposal, we hid behind the walls under some steps and waited for the girl to arrive. She was totally shocked when she realised what was going on. She was being told she was going to a friend’s birthday party! He got down on one knee and proposed. The girlfriend was so surprised and happy that she said yes. It was hard for the girl to say no, when her boyfriend (now fiance) spoke in sincerity with his heart poured out. She said, ‘He has done so much for me, and I look up to him as a role model in my life.’
When we review the epic proposal with the couple, we felt truly honoured. The biggest prize we have got is not the payment the groom saved up to pay, is not the beautiful pictures we reveal. It is their expression and laughters we saw and heard when we looked at the result together. The couple was overjoy, ‘You nailed it!’
They enjoyed the champagne and looked at the snap shots they took throughout the years.
