We first met this British Hong Kong couple 2.5 years ago. The couple started to imagine their big day, and we have brain stormed a lot of ideas since then. Last year September, we had a magical pre-wedding shoot in romantic Bellagio, a town in Lake Como, Italy. This year August, we finally served in their wedding.

The beautiful hotel is in the country side of Kent - Buxted Park Hotel in Uckfield, East Sussex, UK. Originally, they have reduced the guest-list from 150 guests to 30 guests. Everyone tried to maintain social distancing. It just felt very different from those held in pre-pandemic days.

Because banquet was not allowed in the venue, they have moved it to a local pub for a brief celebration with the guests and relatives who are the dearest to them.

This is one of our most organised couples, but as all of us know, there is not anything we could really plan in Coronavirus Pandemic. 'We just want to get it over. We just want to get married!' The bride told us on the phone when they adjusted their wedding date the second time. 

We look forward to serving them again for the second half of the wedding! They are now looking to book a bigger place for a bigger Chinese banquet and invite those friends and family who could not join on their big day.

Winter Theme Wedding Photography and Videography Service in London, England

Christmas is normally a strong theme in winter weddings. Fairy lights, stars, white decor, bouquet with Christmas tree leaves, candles... Although it felt cold, everyone enjoyed the event. 

This time, we were with a friendly Indian bride's and Portuguese groom. We witness their happy wedding day through our cameras and captured their photos and video clips.

Wedding Blessing during Covid-19 Pandemic

This is one of our weddings we have done during coronavirus pandemic. We have provided wedding photography and videography service to these lovely, energetic young couple in Southend Wedding Hall, East Ham, London. Every love story is different, including theirs. Love and friendship always over come fear. We saw their friends and family get involved and being very helpful throughout the day.

This is our first wedding in Spanish, but that’s not the first time the couples we served preferred to use their own naive languages. A really enjoyable day. The pouring rain came right after the couple shoot finished in the park. And since this weekend, banquet is permitted in England. So luckily they could enjoy the day. Their wedding was originally scheduled in April. It is still a wonderful day, no matter how things threw at us. (We were wet from head to toe. Well, not the first time too.) Still remember the day filming their surprise proposal (I didn’t know there would be a proposal). When he proposed, he didn’t just give the ring, but give a tiara, because she is like a princess to him. 

This lovely couple was planning to hold their church wedding ceremony in South Kensington HTB Holy Trinity Brompton church but because of restrictions they had to change the venue address and done all their religious ceremony in Southend Wedding Hall venue with their close guests and relatives. We love their intimate wedding! After the ceremony, we went to Central Park not far from the hall for taking couple portraits as well as some intimate shots for the video film. Their love shines thought the photos and video clips, so pretty and romantic. We wish them a happy married life ever after.

Intimate Autumn Engagement shoot in Walthamstow, London

What a beautiful, young, photogenic couple! One of the most romantic atmospheric shoots! We have provided photography and videography, with some drone shots to this lovely couple’s engagement during coronavirus pandemic days in Springfield Park in North-East London.

We have also interviewed the couple after the shoot about their love story – how did they meet, how do their belief strengthen their love, how did they start loving each other and how do they support each other. So lovely answers they gave us!

In every shoot, we need to direct couples for kissing shots. In daily lives, kissing is natural. We kiss when we greet, start learning it since a very young age, however, kissing in front of a camera is another thing.

Here are some tips for getting great kissing poses for photos:

1) Look 1: Kiss with Passion, just go for it, ignore the camera

2) Look 2: Kiss with the girl’s nose showing (Don’t know why, perhaps just to keep the girls happier.)

3) Look 3: A little kiss on the lips. The best angle is almost kissing, but not kissing. When the lips touch, turn your face 45 degrees to the camera, if not, the photo would only show two head smashing with each other… Another tips is kissing with a smile, try it, take a photo and compare it to the one with lips sucking… You will know why…

4) Look 4: Kiss the cheek/ ear-lope. Always kiss on the cheek closer to the camera, no one would know what you are doing if you kiss on another side…

5) Look 5: There are other places you can kiss which make total sense, like forehead, nose tip, hair, temple. Some people would kiss the eyes… I found it weird on photos, not my favourite.

6) Look 6: Except the kiss, the bodies need to make sense as well. I have seen a lot models having the pretend kiss with their bodies far apart… The body language telling people they are not that close actually. If the subjects are real couples, even you don’t tell them, their bottom part of bodies (below waist) would be sticking together or at least close to each other. It is telling people, ‘we are together.’ Except the body, the hands would be doing something as well. Either on your loved one cheek, neck, hair (or playing his/ her hair), on your partner’s waist, chest (normally put on guy’s chest), arm, shoulder, back pocket, pulling the guy’s clothes forward (look weird if pulling girl’s clothes forward…), pull his/ her chin towards you (it is good, loosing double chin… use this accordingly, because it may look like one lover has more power than another one).

7) Look 7: Flying kiss. Just good for solo shot. It would look a bit too cheesy if showing another half pretend to catch the flying kiss……

There is one prompt we like for kissing poses: Normally, we don’t just say ‘kiss’ then nothing… Give the subjects something to do, ‘Kiss each other, now put your hand behind his ear, use your finger tips touch his cheek. Oh no, don’t slam him…’ (normally there would be some laughing here) ‘Just touching his cheek with soft hand. Now, xxx (the guy), softly hold her hand and kiss her hand and EAT her hand now!’ (normally the girl would try to take her hand back, looked surprised and burst into laughter). Then, normally… after I finish the whole chain of shots… ‘OK, we have got the shot, let’s move on.’ After we turn around and start walking the first step, then we know it is time to turn back and take another shot. 90% the couple would give each other a kiss without us prompting. Then, we would say… ‘Oh, you two are posing again.’ That shot is priceless. Normally the couple would laugh, almost want to cry and looked a bit embarrassed because they got caught…

We were in Holland Park (Kensington, Central London) this day because of a British Asian couple wedding shoot. It was a very different experience for us actually.

We have received their call around late July. They have got married in March already, but: We used the bride’s phone to take some wedding photos. But the phone has been broken and all our weddings photos are gone.

They could not get back to the Town Hall where they get married to re-live the moment because of Covid Measures taken by the Town Hall, so we went to a park instead to take some document signing photos and ring exchange photos.

After that, we went to the Town Hall and took a few photos outside. This is another reason to have professional photographer for your big day. The photos keep your wedding memory alive! We have ‘Re-do’ the moment this time. They are both very happy.

The couple finally get married today! There were lots of ups and downs during the whole process (and it has not finished yet). Things gave up: the planned details, decorated banquet hall, 150 guests, another 20 mins ceremony, firework, group photos in the venue, door game, traditional ceremony… What they have gained: an intimate wedding, pub food, fun and casual day. We are still waiting for another half day celebration. The couple now looking to book a bigger venue and invite more guests when it is possible.

Covid Wedding Ceremony Registration. The Registrars are very careful during this time of period. I remember we all step apart from each other around 2-3m away. There was one thing we could not do: take a shot with the registration book for the ‘pretend’ signing shot. That’s one of the covid measures. They did not want too many people staying too close to it I guess. So instead, we use one of the books on the bookshelf…

The couple told us they want to have the shoot just like the date the groom to be proposed. So we went to the beach in Weymouth. This brought back the memory for them. It is also the bride to be’s birthday! 

Originally, we were going to provide our service to this lovely couple’s wedding day in this year August but because of coronavirus, they have postponed it to 2021. 

Hope this stressful time will past soon and all our couples will be able to celebrate their big days with their love ones without distance! To join them for celebration will be our way to celebrate!

A simple classic wedding in the famous ‘Paul McCartney room’ inside The Old Marylebone Town Hall for the British Born Hong Kong Groom and Bride. After the ceremony, we went to Regent’s Park near Camden for couple portriats. 

We were supposed to provide hair styling and makeup service together with photography, but because of Covid, the bride preferred to do her own hair and makeup. And we could not serve her relatives for their hair and makeup too. Because of the restriction, their guests in Hong Kong could come over to witness the ceremony in person.

We have provided them live broadcast service to show 360 degree of the room, so their friends and family members would feel they were in the room. The town hall only allowed 1 couple and their family in the town hall for maximum an hour. We had to wait for the previous wedding party leave before entering and the next wedding party had to wait outside town hall until we all left. Except these, the bride had to stay at home for 14 days quarantine period before actual wedding day!

We all looking forward to their ‘Covid-free’ banquet next year (2021) summer. Hopefully everything will be fine for them and all the other couples. Their wedding banquet will be held in Orrery Restaurant in Marylebone. This is a very modern restaurant with a lovely roof top garden. We are expecting to take more romantic photos for their 1st year anniversary banquet there!

在老馬里波恩市政廳內著名的“保羅·麥卡尼室”慶祝英藉香港新郎和新娘一場簡單而經典的婚禮。儀式結束後，我們去了卡姆登附近的攝政公園拍了些新人照片。

我們原本應該提供髮型和化妝服務以及攝影服務，但是由於Covid的緣故，新娘想自己動手做髮型和化妝。而我們也無法為其親戚提供髮型和妝容服務。由於受到限制，他們在香港的賓客未能親眼見證儀式。我們為他們提供了現場直播服務，顯示房間的360度，讓他們覺得自己在房間裡。市政廳只允許1對夫婦及其家人進入市政廳，最長不能超過一個小時。我們必須等待上一個婚禮完結才能進入，而下一對新人也必須在市政廳外面等到我們全部離開。除此之外，新娘必須在婚禮日之前需留在家裡14天的隔離期（因她由香港來）！

我們都期待明年（2021年）他們的夏季宴會。他們的婚禮宴會將在馬里波恩的Orrery餐廳舉行。這是一家有著非常現代感的餐廳。又有美麗的屋頂花園。我們希望在那里為他們的一周年宴會拍攝更多浪漫的照片！

無論我們處於什麼情況，我們都會盡力為大家服務。我們祝他們結婚愉快。希望我們很快能再見到他們。
