Studio?

Although we are aiming to have a cafe studio in 10 years time, we are currently planning on investing in something at smaller scale first. Most of you will have noticed we mainly do outdoor and location photography. This means that we constantly have the problem about where clients can change outfits and do their make-up, their transportation during photo shoots and how we can easily access clients' locations (especially when they are outside London).

With this in mind, we came up with the idea of refurbishing a second hand camper to be a mobile studio. We think it will also help us to materialise our European photography trip for clients who wish to take photos overseas as well. In the long run, it will help us to decrease our package price as well as making us much more mobile and saving time during photo shoots.

We wish to have your opinion on the vehicle type. Which one would you be willing to use during photo shoot? We are pretty excited about this idea. Feel free to let us know if you have any other ideas or insights about campers.

If you have an idea about an overseas photo shoot, please feel free to contact us. We can plan the trip and tailor made your package together.

Trip to Hong Kong

Photos from my trip to Hong Kong

July 2014

We're sorry that we didn't write a newsletter last week. We were busy with our first year end accounts and catching up jobs before and after my trip to Hong Kong. It was quite an urgent trip, which I hadn't planned at all, as my sister finalised her restaurant opening quite late. Being her elder sister, I really wanted to celebrate with her and to support her new business (by taking some photos for her restaurant). It turned out to be a wonderful trip. As well as visiting family, I have visited one of our associates in Hong Kong and joined her calligraphy workshop. And under high temperatures, I did a couple photography session. All of us sweated from head to toe, however, I am really pleased with the result. More photos will be posted in the near future. Please keep an eye on our blog and facebook page.

Iconic building in Wan Chai. Took after visiting wedding fair in this exhibition hall.
Lovely sunset view. Taken on a ferry across the harbour.
One thing I have learnt in the trip. Only switch on the camera after 15 minutes coming out of air conditioned buildings, unless I want to create this kind of effect...
