Photo Retouch - Fake? Art?

Photo Retouch is one of my favourite type of arts. It is a later stage for processing photos. Different from taking photographs, photo retouching can create something which may not exist, maybe a mood, enhance the colours, or restoring damaged old photos.

It actually contains:
- Colour correction
- Skin and Beauty Retouch
- Texture Improvement
- Shadow and marks Removal
- Changing Background
- Background Enhancement
- Enhancing Features
- Body Conturing
- Posture Correction
- Red eye Removal
- Object Removal
- Cut outs
- Clipping path

Below is my favourite picture where I get editing idea from.
The Swing by Jean-Honore Fragonard 1767, now exhibiting in Wallace Collection. The contrasting colours, richness of texture, dreamy mood created by golden light and the content are all fascinating.

Here are some samples which I edited the colours.
A great thank you to Fiona & Patrick and my partner Ertug for helping in lighting.

More photo samples are on our website. We just updated the content recently. http://www.thesnapshotcafe.com/ Hope you enjoy them!

Have a nice day!

Best Regards,
Tina
